They represent the Sun, Venus, Mercury, moon, Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars.

As to why the moon appears 'twice'... well, simply the crescent moon was always part of the original logo to it made a certain amount of sense to keep it. I could have had a bit of fun and oriented the moon differently along the outer ring to represent different phases but decided to leave it as-is for now. Besides, I thought that the moon in the outer ring presented in a different orientation looked a bit weird.

The motto for Arcana Creations has been 'bringing form to imagination' and, simply put moon seems to resound well enough with the notion of dreams. The seven 'planets' also have a link with 'magic' in folklore which also goes with the whole theme and keeps with the name 'Arcana Creations'.

There's 'probably' more to it but that might be better for a much more in depth topic for another blog post. ;)

I'm glad you'll like it though!

MMoriarty777https://www.blogger.com/profile/04797377840611728458noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5513491029167099688.post-21162522111969349282012-06-03T20:56:10.851-04:002012-06-03T20:56:10.851-04:00I like it!
